  19.    Are you using the default serial device i.e. serial.device?
  20.    If so, try using one of the PD ones such as v34serial.device or
  21.    USRSerial.device available on aminet.  Serial.device is somewhat
  22.    dated and is prone to errors  at high speed.  I'm currently using
  23.    USRSerial.device with my 14.4 modem and haven't experienced any probs.
